OUR PILLARS
OUR PILLARS
Our pillars represent the core elements and principles we depend on to succeed. These guiding principles shape our work and mission. They include the Christian worldview (CWV), the role of parents and guardians, and our belief in the transformative power of spiritual nurturing.
ONE
The Willing Room is founded on a Christian worldview (CWV), meaning we see the world and life through a perspective rooted in the belief that God is sovereign and actively involved in every part of creation. This worldview recognizes Jesus Christ as the Son of God and Lord, the only way to salvation, and embraces the triune nature of God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—as the foundation of all truth, love, and purpose. Through this perspective, we understand that every human being is made in the image of God, designed to reflect His character and glory in all things. Our faith shapes not only how we interpret the world but also how we live within it—motivating us to serve others, pursue holiness, and create spaces where hearts are transformed by His presence. The Willing Room’s mission and activities stem from this conviction, aiming to glorify God by fostering spiritual growth, authentic worship, and a deep desire to become more like Jesus in everyday life.
TWO
Parents and guardians are the main voices and primary spiritual guides in their children's lives. God has given them the sacred duty to teach, encourage, and nurture their children in faith, leading them toward a deep and personal relationship with Him. Scripture reminds us that this calling is both a privilege and a responsibility—“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it” (Proverbs 22:6, ESV).
At The Willing Room, we believe that spiritual growth starts at home and flourishes when parents actively model a Christ-centered life. We see parents and guardians not as spectators, but as partners in discipleship, shaping the next generation through love, prayer, and the consistent example of faith in action. Our mission is to support families by providing resources, encouragement, and biblical guidance that help create an environment where faith naturally becomes part of everyday life—through worship, devotion, and conversation.
The Willing Room exists to support and strengthen this God-given role, equipping families to establish rhythms of spiritual growth that lead children and teenagers to encounter Jesus personally. We want homes to become sanctuaries of worship, where hearts are softened to God’s Word and where both parents and children are transformed together in His presence.
THREE
When spiritually nurtured, we believe a child can become a vessel of healing and transformation within the home—if God wills it. A child’s faith and innocence reflect the heart of Christ, reminding us of His words: “Let the little children come to me… for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these” (Matthew 19:14, NIV). When a child encounters God personally, their faith can inspire unity, hope, and renewal throughout the family.
This belief in the transformative power of spiritual nurturing is at the core of our mission. It motivates us to invest in children's spiritual growth and to equip parents and guardians to foster faith at home. We invite you to join us on this journey of transformation, trusting that with proper guidance and the Holy Spirit's power, every child has the potential to bring light, healing, and lasting change.
